Why this is not another remote job board

The 2,445 to 300 problem

Here is the thing that costs Kenyan developers the most time, and it is not a lack of remote jobs. It is that "remote" has two completely different meanings and the job boards use the same word for both.

⚠️ The finding that surprised us. We also checked the two aggregators most people are told to use. On the day we built this, one returned 4 Kenya-eligible roles out of 100, and the other returned none at all out of 99. The roles that will actually hire you are almost never on the famous remote job boards — they are on the companies' own hiring systems, which is where we go and get them.
